Everyone has special talents, strengths and abilities. You now have the opportunity to share or trade them with friends and community members thanks to the Boomerang Club.

The Boomerang Club is a mutual aid club, that allows you to access useful resources within your own community in exchange for the time that you are willing and able to offer back.

Are you talented in a given field? Do you have experience or knowledge others could benefit from? Would you simply like to share your passion with others?

The Boomerang Club allows you to do so while giving you access to many services in return from other members.

Has your availability changed? Would you like to change your listed services? Are you moving? Don’t worry, all the information in your personal file can be modified at any time.

The Boomerang Club understands you. Exchanges are always done with mutual respect. You are not obligated to accept a request from another member.

Services are offered on a voluntary basis and according to your own availability.

In your personal file, you may indicate the times which are more convenient for you (day, evening, weekends, or specific days), enabling us to better respond to member needs.

Club members offer services in exchange for 30 or 60-minute time-slips. Exchanges are calculated based on the time spent on the task since all services are considered as being of equal value.

Upon joining, each member receives 5 hours worth of time-slips so that they may benefit from services immediately. Afterwards, members must offer services in order to accumulate more hours.

Enrolling is totally free and as a welcoming gift the Boomerang Club offers you 5 hours worth of time-slips so that you may benefit from services immediately! When you sign up, you will be asked to identify up to (3) different services you are willing to offer to other Club members.

The Boomerang Club is built on what each person has to offer and believes that everyone has shareable knowledge and expertise. As simple a service may seem firsthand, it is very likely that someone will need and appreciate it in the future! There’s no reason to hesitate, since all abilities are worth exchanging within the Boomerang Club community!

The Boomerang Club is a local exchange trading system; an innovative way of responding to individual daily needs while building community relationships. By becoming a member, you immediately have access to a list of people within your own community offering a wide variety of services and ready to help you free of charge when you are in need.
